And they are going to kick things off with Romulan Ale in custom bottles to match the iconic drink first featured in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. From its first appearance in Star Trek II, Romulan Ale has become legendary as a highly potent beverage of Romulan origin with its characteristic crystal blue color. It also had an aura of mystique due to being declared illegal by the Federation; however, Romulan Ale remained popular and has popped up through the franchise.Star Trek Spirits’ first offering will continue the tradition with limited edition releases of Romulan Ale Rye Whiskey and Romulan Ale Vodka, each in individually numbered bottles. The Romulan Ales will be available in early December. The Rye Whiskey is priced (on sale) at $85.00 for each bottle, with the Vodka priced at $75.
